This architecture allows us to build special-purpose applications and integrate them with Business Process Management Systems described in BPMN, and at the same time, give users web interfaces and forms developed in PDF format. The following diagram shows the system architecture from the perspective of the technological infrastructure.
Operation model Taking a closer look to the architecture, we use several industry standards to articulate the solution. In general, at the protocol communications level we basically use https which allows access to multiple types of devices through WEB route or WAP (mobile Devices) or Web Services (Web Services). Also we make extensive use of XML, which allows us to handle multiple schemes of courier service and representations of information, as well as to integrate very easily with external applications or systems, which is fundamental in corporate applications.
Web generation tool for persistent applications or systems Is a fast development “framework” oriented to build software applications or systems, from a definition given by an Entity Relationship Diagram, from which the system infers big part of the operation rules. To do so, a PHP code generation engine is used, to automatically generate the case control interfaces and grant users database access. Based on this, we create the users profiles, roles, permissions over the application and create specific reports.
Application Construction Model The Application
Follow up engine process Based on a process specification valid in BPMN, which is done with Microsoft Visio integrated with the ITP Process Modeler Plug-In, the system can simulate the process and based on this simulation, distribute each activity among the roles assigned to each user in the process. The users have a activity board that lists all the pending activities, and once each activity is fulfill the system recognizes this and instantly determines the next activity based on the associated process.
Web ANDPDF interface generation tools This tool has two set of tools. The first one is oriented to generate users’ web interface based on the XML information that is send from the Module of Web Generation Tool for Persistent Application or system. This one bases on the transformation of a XML HTML using the standard of sheets of style XSLT. This concept allows an automatic way of constructing end user interfaces based on the information nature that is presented to the end user. Thanks to this, you can obtained a substantial programming time saving, due to the fact that great part of the development time of a current application is invested in the user's interfaces development.
INTERFACE GENERATION - PDF
The second tool for users interface generation is Adobe® LiveCycle Designer, a powerful tool created by Adobe, which allows dynamic formats design in PDF. These dynamic forms integrate in a native way with bookstores of the SGP which captures the messages in XML and process them using XSLT style sheets described in every case.
Notifications, alarms and report generation The system allows alarm configuration in different points of the process where is require to monitor and generate statistics and activities report (BAM - Business Activity Monitoring), making easy the monitoring of the process and improving the quality service offered by detecting improvement points. Through the system you can generate any kind of web reports and export them MS Excel.
